Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a truck fire Tuesday afternoon on Highway 400.
The "intense" fire occurred shortly before 5 p.m. in the northbound lanes, north of Teston Road.
All lanes were blocked while police waited for firefighters to arrive on scene.
"Everyone is out of the vehicle and no injuries sustained," said OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt, who also reported several small explosions coming from the truck.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze fairly quickly.
The truck, which still had its horn sounding as firefighters battled the blaze, was destroyed.
Schmidt said he was expecting lanes to reopen shortly after the fire was out.
