Barrie police are seeking information that could investigators to the person/persons who slashed the tires on multiple vehicles at a north-end school yesterday.

Police say staff members at Cundles Heights Public School went to the parking lot after classes on Monday to find that tires had been punctured on three vehicles.

Barrie police communication co-ordinator Peter Leon told BarrieToday the call came in at 7:55 p.m., Jan. 30, but it's unclear when the crimes happened.

“Unfortunately, we have no video to go by, so we hope the public will come forward if they have any information,” Leon said. “The good thing is there is not a rash of this occurring and it seems isolated to this incident at the school.

"We do want to find those responsible, though," he added. "Tires are not cheap, obviously, and can be hard to come by depending on your vehicle.”
