Snowmobile stolen from owner's driveway in Penetang

PENETANGUISHENE - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Southern Georgian Bay detachment responded on Dec. 2, 2019 to a Penetanguishene resident who was reporting the theft of his snowmobile from the driveway of his Lorne Street home.

The snowmobile described as being a 2012 Polaris Assault snowmobile bearing VIN#SN1CW8GS7CC476652 with Ontario plate # 3AD719 was stored on an snowmobile trailer in the victims driveway.

Between 12 a.m. and 5 a.m. Dec. 2, 2019 the trailer was wheeled across the street and the Polaris was removed from the trailer and driven away along Church Street, Penetanguishene.
