Teen girl charged in Bradford stabbing; boy in stable condition

South Simcoe Police Service officers have charged a 17-year-old Bradford female following a stabbing incident. 

On Monday, Jan. 28, 2019 around 2 p.m., police were dispatched to a home in the Professor Day Drive and Holland Street West area of Bradford for a report of a 16-year-old male who had been stabbed. The youth was transported to hospital where he is listed in stable condition. 

Investigation has resulted in charges against a 17-year-old Bradford female: 
  • Aggravated assault 
  • Assault with a weapon 
  • Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose 

The accused and the victim were known to each other. No further information can be released due to provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
