INNISFIL - A 19-year-old Bradford man was charged with speeding and stunt driving following a traffic stop in Innisfil.
On Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 8:20 a.m., a South Simcoe Police Service officer conducting speed enforcement on Yonge Street clocked a northbound vehicle travelling 64 kilometres over the posted speed limit.
The officer conducted a traffic stop and as a result, the driver was charged with Speeding and Stunt Driving. His driver's licence was suspended for seven days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.
Tomorrow is the start of Canada Road Safety Week and aggressive driving is on of the road safety risk factors being targeted during this 7-day awareness campaign. Speed kills. Slow down on our roads and do your part for community safety.
