Suspects sought following Tiny Beaches Road robbery

Police say pair entered occupied residence, interacted with the homeowner, removed lock box and some personal property of the home owner and fled the scene on foot

Members of the Ontario Provincial Police Southern Georgian Bay detachment were dispatched at 6:10 am May 17, 2019 to a Tiny Beaches Road North residence after the OPP Communications Centre received a 911 call reporting that a robbery had just occurred.

Attending officers learned that a male and female entered the occupied residence and after interacting with the home owner, removed a lock box and some personal property of the home owner and fled the scene on foot. Scene Investigators were assisted by the OPP K-9 Unit and the OPP Central Region Crime Unit is now assisting in the investigation.

This is an ongoing investigation and updates will be provided as information becomes available.
