Innisfil - On Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019 at 8:20 a.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to a break and enter at a business in Cookstown.
Once on scene, investigation revealed that an unknown suspect entered the business which is located in a plaza off Highway 89. The suspect left the scene with a quantity of cash.
South Simcoe Police Service officers are appealing for the public's help.The plaza is busy at that time of day and we would like to hear from witnesses. Anyone with information regarding this break and enter is asked to call us at 905-775-3311, 705-436-2141 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS).
On Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019, South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to 68 calls for service.
