Serious injuries as personal watercraft crashes into breakwall

On Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 1:50 a.m. Barrie Police attended with Simcoe County Paramedics to a report of a female who had crashed a personal watercraft she was riding into a breakwall off the shore of Tyndale Beach in Kempenfelt Bay.

A 21-year-old Niagara Falls female was located and taken to Royal Victoria Regional Health Center.

She was later transferred to a Toronto area hospital with serious but undetermined injuries at this time.

Barrie Police Service Marine and Traffic Reconstruction Units are at the scene of the incident today continuing their investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Barrie Police Service at 705-725-7025.
