Purchases worth $650 made with stolen credit cards

Police are looking to identify a male who was captured on video surveillance using financial cards from a stolen wallet.

In the early hours of Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, the victim received an email from their bank alerting them to suspected fraudulent activity on their accounts.

The victim discovered later that morning that his vehicle had been entered sometime overnight and his wallet had been stolen. It was determined that several cards were used to make approximately $650 worth of fraudulent transactions at a Barrie convenience store.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male, white, with a black beard
  • 25 - 35 years old
  • Wearing a black hat, grey sweater with “RAW” across the front and a tan camo and black winter jacket
