TINY TOWNSHIP - On Monday Apr. 17, 2017 at approximately 4 p.m. an officer from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting speed enforcement on Baseline Road South in Tiny Township, ON. The officer observed the driver of a Pontiac G5 travelling at a high rate of speed and determined the speed to be 111 km/hr. in a 60 km/hr. zone.

As a result of the traffic stop, the male driver Kraig Robertson (age 18) of Barrie, Ontario has been charged with Stunt Driving by Excessive Speed contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. The driver also received an immediate seven-day driver's licence suspension and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on June 1, 2017 in Penetanguishene, ON.
