On Sunday, Mar. 12, 2017 just before 1 a.m. Barrie Police were called to an address on Corbett Drive in the City of Barrie, for a male who had been stabbed.
Upon arrival police located a 35-year-old Barrie male who had been stabbed multiple times and suffering from head injuries, after being struck with a baseball bat. The male was taken to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre with non –life threatening injuries.
Investigators believe the involved parties are known to one another and have issued arrest warrants for;
Holly Goswell-Payne (24 years old)
- Aggravated Assault
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Fail to comply with Probation
- Utter Threats to Cause Death
John Nanibush (28 years old)
- Aggravated Assault
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Fail to comply with Probation x2
