Police seek information on Collingwood sexual assault

COLLINGWOOD, ON – On Jan. 1, 2017 at 1:50 a.m. a female reported to police that she had been pulled into a vehicle and sexually assaulted.  The incident occurred at approximately 1:20 a.m. on Second Street between Birch and Beech Street in the Town of Collingwood. Collingwood OPP Crime Unit are assisting in the investigation.

Suspect Vehicle Description:

  • 2005-2010 Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla
  • Silver or Tan in colour
  • 4 door sedan
  • Black steel rims

Suspect Description:

  • Male south Asian
  • Late twenties to early thirties
  • Beard
  • 5 ½ to 5 foot 7 inches tall
  • Average build with a large mid-section

Suspect Clothing Description:

  • Blue t-shirt
  • Black pants
  • Black baseball cap with White logo

Police believe the suspect vehicle may have been in the areas of Second and Birch Streets, Birch Street between Second and Third Streets, and Third Street between Oak and Birch Streets all in the Town of Collingwood.
