Update: At 11:30 a.m., Thursday, Barrie police said Furtado's whereabouts had been confirmed and she is no longer considered missing.

Barrie Police is trying to locate the whereabouts of 21-year-old Delissa Furtado. She was reported missing last night and is believed to be somewhere between Barrie and Toronto where she attends school during the week.
She was last heard from Monday night after a text message was received by a family member. Police and family are concerned for her wellbeing. She is described as female white, 5'3" with bright pink short hair.
Anyone with information on where Delissa Furtado may be is asked to please contact the Barrie Police at 705-725-7025.
