Police seek assistance in the case of the concealed six-pack

Barrie Police Service is looking for assistance in identifying a female responsible for shoplifting beer from a local grocery store.

On Monday, Sept. 11, 2017 shortly after 4 p.m., a female entered the Loblaws located at 472 Bayfield Street, in the City of Barrie.  The suspect entered the beer fridge area and selected multiple cans of beer, placing them in a cardboard carry case provided by the store and an additional 6-pack of beer. She then retreated to the cereal aisle where she concealed the 6-pack in a black shoulder bag she was carrying. The suspect then left the store, paying for the tall boys and failing to pay for the concealed 6-pack.

Description:

  • Female, white
  • Mid to late 30's
  • 5'4"-5'6", 120 lbs and thin build 
  • Long blond hair, brown eyes. 
  • Large red mark on her right upper arm with a tattoo that begins with the text "Life"
  • Wearing a multi-colour shirt, capris jeans and white shoes
