Stolen pickup recovered
INNISFIL — On Monday September 26, 2016 the owner of a stolen pick up truck spotted his truck in the parking lot of a local restaurant and called police while keeping an eye on the suspect. Officers quickly responded and the suspect attempted to escape when he saw police moving in.
A 23-year-old Innisfil man was arrested without incident and now has a date with a Criminal Court Judge to answer to charges of possession of stolen property over $5,000. The man was also on a driving suspension from a previous incident and was further charged with driving under suspension.
