Police need help finding missing Barrie woman (update: found)

The Barrie Police Service is appealing to the public for assistance in locating Nancy Van Hintum who was reported missing yesterday (Monday) evening.

From the investigation which has followed, police have determined that she was last known to at her home late yesterday morning, which is located in the southwest part of Barrie.

Nancy is described as female, white, 59 years old, 5’3, 145 lbs., medium build, brown shoulder-length straight hair, hazel-coloured eyes and wears glasses. She is believed to be driving a grey-coloured, 2010 Toyota Matrix with Ontario licence plates AFPL908.

Police, family and friends are concerned for the personal well-being of Nancy Van Hintum and are asking that anyone with information on where she may be to please contact the Barrie Police Service at 705-725-7025 or by dialing 911.
