Police look for two theft suspects (3 photos)

Two break and enter occurrences are under investigation

BRADFORD - South Simcoe Police received a call around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017 for a report of a theft that occurred sometime over the night. When the Bradford resident woke that morning, he noticed an Excalibur Exocet crossbow along with a white BMX style bicycle were missing from an insecure garage.

The cameras located on the exterior of the home were able to capture a male suspect entering the garage around 12:20 a.m. and leaving riding the bike.

Shortly after, the male suspect is seen returning for the crossbow. The suspect is male white, in his 20s and was wearing a backpack.

BRADFORD - On Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, just after 6 p.m., South Simcoe Police were called to a residence on Colborne Street for a break and enter that had occurred during the day. Sometime between 6:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., the house was entered and jewelry and electronics were stolen.

Anyone with information about either of these thefts is asked to contact South Simcoe Police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Police also remind all homeowners to lock and secure their garage doors, windows and any entry location to their homes. Please call 9-1-1 to report any unusual activity in their neighborhood.
