Police look to identify suspect in Soldiers Memorial Hospital theft investigation

ORILLIA - On Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017 the Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a theft complaint from an employee at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital (OSMH) in the City of Orillia.

On Dec. 6, 2017 approximately 12:50 p.m. the male suspect was visiting OSMH when it is alleged he took the employee's property. The Orillia OPP is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the male suspect.

The male suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • 55-60
  • Grey/white hair
  • Grey/white goatee
  • Glasses
  • three-quarter length coat with poppy on breast
  • Santa tie
  • Believed to be driving a dark coloured PT Cruiser.
