Police look to identify good samaritan who assisted with Alliston fire

They would like to personally thank the man for his assistance

On Sunday, June 10, 2018 at approximately 5:14 a.m., officers from the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a residential structure fire on King Street North in Alliston.

OPP attended along with the New Tecumseth Fire Department and Simcoe County Paramedic Services. Fortunately, all occupants inside the residence were safely removed.

Nottawasaga OPP is also seeking the identity of the good samaritan who stopped and assisted with removing the occupants from inside the house safely. They would like to personally thank the male for his assistance. The Ontario Fire Marshal's Office has been notified and the Nottawasaga OPP Crime Unit will be continuing with the investigation.
