The Barrie Police Service is requesting the assistance of the public with regards to an ongoing robbery investigation.
On Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019 shortly before 9 p.m., a lone male entered the Mac’s Convenience Store located at 280 Dunlop St. W. in the City of Barrie.
Armed with a weapon, he proceeded to rob the store of an undisclosed amount of currency, coin and cigarettes. The suspect then fled on foot and there were no injuries sustained by the on-duty staff.
The suspect is described as:
- Male, black, 6’0
- Camouflage style hoodie, dark coloured pants, blue/black checkered scarf, black with white Nike swoosh style shoes.
