The Barrie Police Service is appealing to the public for assistance after a theft was reported from a south end storage facility located in the City of Barrie.

On Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019, police responded to a report that a 2000 Kawasaki Jet Ski 1100, red and white in colour that was on an unplated trailer had been stolen.

From the investigation that followed, it was discovered that the theft had taken place on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019 at 9:20 a.m. and that it was towed away by what appears to have been a grey or brown Chevrolet Silverado with a matching cap and black roof rack.

It is believed that the word Leer was in the middle of the back window of the cap and that there was a white decal on the driver’s side of the cap window.

Anyone with information on this theft is asked to contact Constable Reynolds of the Barrie Police Service at 705-725-7025, ext. 2615, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or leave an anonymous tip online at www.p3tips.com.
