South Simcoe police are investigating a collision that occurred on Gilford Road, Sunday morning.
Police say a vehicle left the roadway at 7:15 a.m. while heading westbound on Gilford Road, east of 20th when the collision occurred.
As a result, a 23-year-old Mississauga man has been transported to a Toronto trauma centre with serious injuries.
The investigation is looking at several factors that caused the collision including speed and seat-belt.
