ORO-MEDONTE, ON – In the early morning hours of Dec. 24, 2016, officers from the Barrie Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an injured person on Woodland Heights Drive in Oro-Medonte Township. The County of Simcoe Paramedic Services attended the scene and transported one person to an area hospital.
The ongoing investigation is continuing by members of the Barrie OPP and Central Region OPP Crime Unit, under the direction of Detective Inspector Randy Wright of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).
