Police in Wasaga Beach appeal for witnesses in 2014 taxi-driver assault

WASAGA BEACH - On June 22, 2014, at 1 a.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to reports of an assault on a taxi driver on Mosley Street in the town of Wasaga Beach.

Police investigation revealed multiple suspects involved in the assault, three male parties, and one female adolescent age were described as being involved, however, no further descriptors were available.

The taxi driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

This year marks the five-year anniversary of this incident and police are seeking the public's assistance in helping to solve this case.
