SPRINGWATER - On April 11, 2019 at approximately 12:15 a.m., members of the Huronia West Ontario Provincial Police were conducting RIDE program on County Road 27 in Springwater Township. During a vehicle check, police investigation revealed that the male passenger was wanted on a bench warrant, the male was subsequently arrested and found to be in possession of 7 grams of cocaine.
Brandon Smith, age 30, of Pefferlaw, Ont. was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a schedule I substance - cocaine
The accused was held in custody and set to appear on April 11, 2019 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie.
