Police continue to investigate Bradford LCBO assault

South Simcoe police say the victim, a 28-year-old Toronto man, is in hospital in stable condition

South Simcoe Police Service continues to investigate a serious assault that occurred in Bradford, Friday afternoon.

At approximately 12:20 p.m., police responded to a report of an assault in a parking lot in front of the LCBO on Holland Street West. 

Once on scene, police determined that a 28-year-old Toronto man was injured during an altercation in the parking lot. He was transported to hospital where he is listed in stable condition, according to police.

Police say two suspects fled the scene in a pickup truck, but were taken into custody nearby following a traffic stop. Police have not said if any charges had been laid as of Friday evening. 

The investigation is ongoing.
