Police called to library disturbance. Man ends up in jail for 15 days

Arrest Warrant

INNISFIL — On Tuesday, November 22, 2016, around 7:30 p.m., South Simcoe Police were called to Innisfil Idealab, Lakeshore Branch in Alcona in response to a disturbance outside the library.

A man was asked to leave by the library manager as he was being belligerent to citizens walking past.

A taxi was called to take him home, however he still refused to leave.

Officers learned that the suspect was named in a warrant of committal for a conviction on a charge of fail to comply probation. The 57-year-old Innisfil man was taken to jail to serve his sentence of 15 days in custody.
