Police ask for help to find driver who left scene of collision

INNISFIL - South Simcoe Police Service Traffic Unit officers are appealing for witnesses to a single vehicle roll over fail to remain collision in Innisfil.

Police were called to Shoreview Drive around 4 a.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2018 by a passerby who reported a vehicle was on the shoulder on its side with four-way flashers on.

Officers checked the area for people who may have been involved but no one was found.

Investigation revealed that the vehicle had been reported stolen later that morning to Barrie Police.

The owner said the black Ford Escape with licence plate CDRK 898 was stolen from southeast Barrie.
