Police appeal to public for assistance to solve break and enter

WASAGA BEACH, ONT. – The members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking the public for their assistance in solving this crime.

Sometime between 2:45 a.m. and 4:45 a.m. on September 24th, 2016, unknown person entered the Town of Wasaga Beach Municipal Offices on Lewis Street.

An extensive investigation by OPP has revealed that the following items were stolen:

  • Toshiba Lap Top Computer – Serial # 4G101367H
  • Toshiba Lap Top Computer – Model – Satellite Pro A40-C – Serial # PS461C033001
  • Canon Digital Camera
  • Assorted Keys

Police are looking for a suspect in this case whose image was captured by an internal office camera and is described as:

  • Male
  • White
  • Wearing baggy pants, a hoodie, a baseball cap and black gloves
