On Jan. 18, 2020, at approximately 4:23 a.m., a break and enter occurred at the SL Witty Homes sales office located at 2246 Snow Valley Road, Springwater Township (near the intersection of Vespra Road). Members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the incident.
One unknown suspect broke a glass door to gain entry. The suspect and vehicle fled in an unknown direction on Snow Valley Road.
OPP Scenes of Crime (SOCO) officers attended the scene and collected evidence and surveillance footage of the incident.
Police obtained a description of the suspect that entered the office and the involved vehicle.
Suspect:
- Caucasian male
- Heavy build
- Approximately 50-60 years of age
Vehicle:
- Light blue sedan, possibly a Chrysler
- Last three digits on license plate are 168
