Neighbour dispute in Innisfil results in charges

INNISFIL — A 45-year-old man was charged with assault and uttering threats following an ongoing neighbour dispute in Innisfil.

On Saturday, July 18, 2020, around 9 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to a call regarding an assault in the Yonge Street and Killarney Beach Road area. 

Upon arrival, police observed a suspect being restrained by two men.

Officers learned the suspect had [allegedly] assaulted a woman.

Two men who witnessed the assault came to the woman's aid. The men were assaulted and all three were threatened by the suspect before the two men restrained him.

Daniel Seymour, 45, of Innisfil, has been charged with assault and uttering threats. He was held for a bail hearing.
