Multiple 'suspicious men' sought in relation to West Ridge incidents in Orillia: OPP

The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating several incidents relating to a number of suspicious persons in the area of West Ridge in the City of Orillia.

The OPP have received several complaints of suspicious persons in the West Ridge area, where members of the public have been approached by a male or observed a male acting in a suspicious manner.

The male suspects vary in description, ranging in age between late 30s to mid-60s. It is unclear whether the incidents are related at this time. The investigation is on-going.

Police are reminding the public to be aware of their surroundings at all times. If they observe someone acting suspiciously or someone approaches them while behaving in an unusual manner to call the police.

A detailed description of the suspect and, if possible, suspect vehicle should be noted, including make and model of the vehicle with licence plate.
