Motorcyclist in serious but stable condition after collision with SUV

A 47-year-old Innsfil man was airlifted to a Toronto hospital following a collision involving his motorcycle and an SUV in Innisfil.

On Sunday May 31, 2020 at approximately 5:10 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to a collision on 20th Sideroad and the 2nd Line.

An SUV travelling eastbound on the 2nd Line collided with a northbound motorcycle.  

The motorcycle rider was airlifted by Ornge air ambulance to a Toronto trauma centre where he is listed in serious but stable condition. A 17-year-old Cookstown girl driving the SUV was treated at the scene for a minor injury.

The investigation is ongoing.
