Motorcyclist airlifted to Toronto following collision

A collision involving a car and a motorcycle resulted in serious injuries for the driver of the motorcycle

SPRINGWATER TWP - On June 11, 2018 around 9:21 p.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Springwater Fire Department and Simcoe County Paramedic Service responded to a motor vehicle collision (MVC) involving a car and motorcycle on Flos Road 4 between Glengarry landing and Crosland Road.

The driver of the car was not injured. The driver of the motor cycle, a 36-year-old male, was airlifted to St. Michaels Hospital in Toronto with serious injuries.

The investigation into this motor vehicle collision is ongoing with the assistance of OPP Central Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) Unit. Flos Road 4 has been opened.
