TAY TWP. - The missing male, Steven Strath was located after members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call from a member of the public at 9:58  a.m. March 28, 2020. He was located by a passerby in the bush area off Ivy Lane in the Village of Victoria Harbour, Tay Township and sadly had passed away from a non-suspicious climbing accident. Family and involved officers wish to thank those community members who assisted in this completed investigation.

Original March 27 OPP release:
Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently searching and are seeking assistance in locating 44-year-old, Steven Strath, a male of Victoria Harbour after he was reported missing by his family on March 26, 2020. Steven was last observed walking southbound around 4:30 p.m. on March 23, 2020 at the intersection of Albert Street and John Dillingo Street in Victoria Harbour.

He is described as: male white, 5' 8" tall, 160lb in weight, with a shaved head and facial stubble. Clothing descriptors - black work jacket, blue jeans possibly ripped, dark t-shirt. Tattoo "STRATH" across his back and a black band on his left arm.
