Minesing man charged in Penetang crash

Police say Tiny Township man, 57, was taken to Toronto-area hospital with serious injuries

Two people were injured, one of them seriously, following a two-vehicle crash in Penetanguishene, Thursday night. 

Southern Georgian Bay OPP says officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Robert Street West and Owen Street in Penetanguishene at 7:55 p.m., Feb. 2.

OPP say a passenger from each vehicle was transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.

One of those injured passengers, a 57-year-old Tiny Township man, has been transported to a Toronto-area hospital for further treatment of his serious injuries, according to police.

A 23-year-old Minesing man has been charged with a Highway Traffic Act offence. Police did not specifiy what the charge was.
