On Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, the Midland Police Service received a call from an east side resident reporting that an ex-partner had just entered the house and stole a cell phone.

Police responded to the residence at approximately 8 p.m. and spoke to the complainant. Police were informed that the suspect attended the residence and entered unannounced.

It is alleged the suspect then proceeded to the victim's room and demanded to see the victim's cellular telephone. The suspect then reportedly left with the device.
