On Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 4 p.m. a pedestrian was struck by a single vehicle while crossing Wellington Street West near the Wellington Medical Arts Building located at 121 Wellington Street West, in the City of Barrie.
The 49-year-old Barrie male was transported to Royal Victoria Regional Health Center where he was transported to a Toronto Hospital due to the extent of his injuries.
He is currently listed in critical condition.
The Barrie Police Collision Reconstruction Team is continuing their investigation at this time.
