TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH - On Friday, Feb. 25, 2017 at approximately 7:21 p.m., the Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a robbery at Banting Convenience Store located on Victoria Street East in Alliston, Town of New Tecumseth.

A male entered the local business armed with a knife and removed money from the cash register drawer and took several cigarette packages. The male was last seen leaving the store on foot.

The suspect is described as male, approximately ‎6' tall, very thin and approximately 165 to 170 lbs.

Investigation is on-going.
