One person is facing charges after a weapons incident in Oro-Medonte involving a tenant and landlord.

Ontario Provincial Police were called to Penetanguishene Road at 9:42 p.m. Saturday.

They say a male tenant left his unit and brandished a machete at another man.

Marc Allan, 41, of Oro-Medonte has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent unless proven guilty.

“The Orillia OPP considers this an isolated incident and there is no threat to public safety,” said police in a news release.
