Innisfil woman registers twice the legal limit

INNISFIL - A 25-year-old Innisfil woman is charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 after police were called about a possible impaired driver.

On Sunday, May 26, 2019 around 11:30 p.,m., police were dispatched after receiving a call regarding a vehicle driving erratically on the 7th Line near Sideroad 20 in Innisfil.

A traffic stop was subsequently conducted and an odour of alcohol was detected along with other signs of impairment.

The woman driving the vehicle was placed under arrest for impaired driving. She was transported to South Division where breath tests resulted in readings of over twice the legal limit of alcohol.

The woman was charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80. Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for seven days.
