A 56-year-old Innisfil man was charged with over 80 after a concerned citizen called police to report a suspected impaired driver.
On Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019 at approximately 5 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to the area of Ewart Street and Arnold Road in Innisfil where they located a parked vehicle and spoke to the driver.
A roadside screening device test resulted in a fail and the driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to North Division where further testing resulted in readings of over twice the legal limit.
As a result, a 56-year-old Innisfil man was charged with over 80.
His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.
