SOUTH SIMCOE POLICE SERVICE

On Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021 at approximately 10 p.m., South Simcoe police responded to a northeast Innisfil neighbourhood regarding a report of a male masturbating in public.
This act was witnessed by a 14-year-old female victim and her mother. The offender was situated in front of their residence.
Uniform patrol attended the initial call and obtained the details of the offence. The South Simcoe Police Criminal Investigation Bureau continued the investigation and identified the offender.
Today, Sept. 24, 2021, at approximately 6 a.m. South Simcoe Police Criminal Investigations Bureau arrested 26-year-old Benjamin Danby of Innisfil.
Danby was arrested and an search warrant executed at his residence. Danby has been charged with exposure to a person under 16 years of age and breach of probation.
Danby is being held for a bail hearing. The investigation continues into his conduct.
