INNISFIL - On Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019 around 8 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers were called to the intersection of Innisfil Beach Road and 20th Sideroad for a report of a robbery.
Once on scene, officers learned that a taxi driver had been robbed by a fare who then fled the scene.
Subsequent investigation identified a suspect and an arrest was made on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019.
A 25-year-old Innisfil man is charged with robbery, utter threats and breach of probation.
He was released with a future court date.
