A big thank you from the Barrie Police Service to Firehouse Subs and the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation of Canada.

This morning, we celebrated a $2,703 grant awarded to Barrie Police Service to fund the purchase of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

The awarded equipment will allow for the Barrie Police to have a dedicated AED available to train officers so they’re better prepared in the event of sudden cardiac arrest.

The AED was purchased through the County of Simcoe Paramedic Services Public Access Defibrillator (PAD) program.
