Erratic driving leads to impaired, drug charges for Toronto man

His licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days

ESSA TOWNSHIP - On Aug. 9, 2019, members from the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complaint about a pickup truck driving erratically.

Officers located the pickup and effected the stop. The male driver Jesse Dodd-Kellam, 28 years old of Toronto, was subsequently arrested and charged with:
    •    impaired operation - alcohol and drugs
    •    unauthorized possession of a weapon
    •    possession of a schedule I substance
    •    possession of a schedule II substance
    •    drive motor vehicle with open container of liquor

His driver's licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for seven days. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford in August 2019.
