Innisfil firefighters, Simcoe County paramedics and Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a major pileup on Highway 400 in the southbound lanes, just north of Innisfil Beach Road, Monday.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt also said police were dealing with several collisions in that area due to whiteout conditions.
No injuries were reported.
Police advised motorists to drive with caution as the strong winds and blowing snow continue.
