The OPP underwater search and recovery unit has been called in to look for a missing kayaker after an incident today in Bracebridge.

An elderly man is missing after a kayak mishap in the Bracebridge Falls area earlier today. 

Details are scant, but members of the Bracebridge OPP are currently searching the Bracebridge River and Bracebridge Falls area for the 81-year-old Bracebridge man after his kayak overturned.

The OPP underwater search and recovery unit is on scene to assist with this ongoing situation.
