TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH – On Feb. 1, 2017, members of the Nottawasaaga Detachment, assisted by members of the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), Street Crime Unit, and Emergency Response Team (ERT) of the Ontario Provincial Police, executed a drug search warrant at a residence in Alliston.
As a result of this search, four male persons were arrested and charged, two of which were young offenders. A quantity of cocaine, marijuana and cannabis resin was seized with a street value of $2,500. Also seized was a small quantity of cash.
Three persons were charged with Drug Trafficking related charges and one charged with drug possession charges.
All four persons have been released and will appear in the Criminal Court of Justice, in Bradford on Feb. 9, 2017.
