Driver sought after leaving crash scene in Angus

Police say driver crossed live lane of traffic at intersection on July 29, causing motorcyclist to take evasive action which led to crash

The Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are requesting the publics' assistance in locating the driver of a vehicle that failed to remain at the scene of a collision.

On July 29, 2019, at approximately 3 p.m. a White Ford Fusion crossed a live lane of traffic at the intersection of Mill Street and Pine River Road in Angus. The actions of the Fusion's driver caused a motorcyclist to perform evasive maneuvres, resulting in a crash.

There is video footage of the incident showing the white or similar coloured Ford Fusion with a lone driver turning from Mill Street westbound onto Pine River Road. 

Police are asking for any witnesses and the driver of the Ford Fusion to contact the Nottawasaga detachment.
